Pet Rating System: 1= Lowest 5 = Highest
Our Rating: Despite a greyhounds ability to run faster than any other breed, these dogs are not eager runners...in fact, they are great couch potatoes. This breed loves to sit and observe. They do not require lots of activity to keep them happy. Greyhounds can be on the shy side but are always friendly. They are perfect for children and families. Because of their large size they are often overlooked for smaller homes and yards....however, because of their relative docile nature they do well in condos and smaller yards. Visit our Advanced Dog Care for more information.

Because of their background, they have been bred for intelligence and are very quick learners. Contrary to popular belief, these dogs make excellent lap dogs and couch potatoes.
